I had been going to an “old school” male dentist for 20 years. He still had shag carpeting in his waiting room so that should tell you how much money he put into current dental equipment. When he retired someone else took over his office so I figured it was a good time to look around for another dentist. I was pleasantly surprised when I had my first appointment at The Lewisville Dentist. Instead of a typical front office staff asking “Do you have an appointment?” and “I need to see your insurance card”, I was greeted with “Hello Mr. S, welcome to our office. Please have a seat and we will be with you shortly.” How did they know my name? I already liked this place. Within a few minutes I was escorted to the last procedure room on the left, so I got good look at the inside office. All the equipment seems to be state-of-the-art. I was really impressed with their X-ray machine – it displayed my X-rays on the TV attached to the dental chair. Definitely not “old school”. I then met Dr. Goodman who reviewed their findings and analysis. Each of my three issues were discussed with only one issue being a priority right then. Multiple options for each issue were reviewed with the advantages, disadvantages, and pricing. There was no pressure selling – only what I felt was an honest concern for my well being. By the way, Dr. Goodman’s professionalism and chair-side manner is amazing. I now feel I have the assurance of a caring and intelligent physician. I highly recommend this friendly staff to my family members, even it means they have to drive longer to get here than their current dentist – it is definitely worth it.
It always amazes me what a pleasure it is for me to visit my dentist office. Thanks for always making me feel welcome and special, you are a great team. I also appreciate your special effort to get me ready for my upcoming hospital stay and operation. I hope they are as great a team as you. If not, I’m sending them over for training.
The Lewisville Dentist aka Dr. Natalie Goodman is wonderful. They say that a good team takes it’s personality from the leader and it is certainly the case with this office. Everyone I interact with in this office is friendly, helpful and professional. I don’t feel like a patient, I feel like a family member that is coming in for a visit and while I’m there we might as well get a cleaning done. Appointments are done on time (don’t you hate getting to the Doctor on time and then spending another 30 minutes to be seen). The office embraces technology that helps me as the patient understand what is happening to my teeth and what they are going to do to resolve the issue. They are wonderful.
